Job Title: Merchandise Planner (Entry-Level)
Department: Planning & Merchandising
The Merchandise Planner will support the planning team in building and executing merchandise strategies that drive sales, optimize inventory, and maximize profitability. You’ll be responsible for placing purchase orders, assisting with sales and inventory analysis, and helping to create seasonal and in-season plans.
Responsibilities
Update weekly reporting tools and dashboards for company-wide distribution
Monitor weekly sales and inventory performance and flag risks/opportunities
Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed
Place and maintain purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy
Perform size and style-level analysis to inform reorders and inventory management
Assist in allocation and replenishment strategies (where applicable)
Assist in building pre-season plans by category, style, and channel
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including, production, design, and marketing
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in merchandise planning, allocation, or buying support
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Finance, or related field
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Eagerness to learn and grow in a data-driven, creative environment
