Overview The purpose of this position is to support Principal Investigators and research staff with event coordination, organization, and facilitation as well as support post-award research grant management.

Responsibilities

Maintain and monitor budgets for research projects, work with PIs on amendments and progress reports.

Process travel, payments, contracts, and purchasing for staff, consultants, and participants.

Coordinate, organize, and facilitate all aspects of events including contracts with hotels and consultants, all related travel and reimbursements, and final payments.

Update and maintain administrative spreadsheets, Box, and paper files.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High school graduation or GED.

Five years of clerical experience.

1+ years experience with events planning and coordination.

Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently.

Clear and effective oral and written communication skills. Professional demeanor.

Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficient with Mac computers.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

Three years of clerical experience.

Prior experience working in Workday, Define, and other UT systems.

Working knowledge of UT policies and procedures.

Salary Range Salary Range:

$45,000 - $51,534
