Job Summary

The Warehousing & Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies used in All Ways Restoration’s property damage restoration and construction projects, including water extraction, fire repair, smoke mitigation, storm recovery, and remodeling. This role ensures accurate inventory tracking, timely replenishment of consumable supplies, and efficient organization of the warehouse to support field operations under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tools (e.g., demolition tools, hand tools), equipment (e.g., dehumidifiers, air movers), and restoration supplies (e.g., cleaning agents, protective gear), using manual logs and digital systems. Receiving & Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect items for damage or defects, reporting discrepancies to the Operations Manager. Storage & Organization: Organize and store inventory in the warehouse, ensuring items are accessible, labeled, and stored safely per OSHA and company standards. Utilize 5S / Kaizen principles in organizing the facility. Distribution: Prepare and distribute materials to field crews based on Work Orders, ensuring timely delivery to project sites for restoration services. Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels, identify low-stock items, and coordinate with the Operations Manager to reorder supplies, avoiding project delays. Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic checks on equipment and report repair needs to ensure operational readiness. The ability to perform some equipment repairs is preferred but not required. Documentation: Record all inventory transactions (e.g., receipts, issuances, returns) daily and assist in weekly inventory audits, submitting reports on a weekly basis. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, maintain a clean and hazard-free warehouse, and participate in periodic safety meetings as required.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in inventory management or logistics is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in warehousing, inventory control, or a related field, preferably in construction or restoration industries. Skills:

○ Proficiency with inventory software (e.g., Excel, warehouse management systems) and basic math for tracking quantities.

○ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.

○ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

○ Basic understanding of restoration materials and tools (e.g., dehumidifiers, PPE).

Licenses: Valid driver’s license; forklift certification is an advantage.

Requirements

Physical Demands: Frequent standing, lifting, and moving of materials in a warehouse environment; occasional outdoor work for loading/unloading. Work Schedule: Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with potential overtime based on project needs (approved by Operations Manager). Positive Attitude: We pride ourselves on building and maintaining a strong company culture centered on employee development and continuous improvement.

Performance Expectations

Maintain 99% inventory accuracy during audits. Ensure zero stockouts of critical restoration supplies through proactive monitoring. Meet all distribution deadlines to support field crews, contributing to project completion within client timelines.
