Schloegel Design Remodel . SDR has 40+ years in the remodeling industry, and the team drives the remodeling experience. This role reports to the Production Manager and directly manages a project’s schedule and budget while supervising subs and in-house labor, from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Complete all work with the highest quality of craftsmanship and within the time allotted.
Maintain awareness of the project as a whole, including revisions to plans, specs, change orders, and the schedule.
Communicate clearly with the Production Manager, subcontractors, and clients; act as the working job site manager.
Ensure job site safety, cleanliness, security, and protection from damage during construction.
Check the job site notebook daily and communicate contents to the Production Manager.
Fully invest in the Builder Trend program for success in this position.
Order construction materials as needed to maintain availability.
Complete jobs per the schedule and work with the Production Manager to keep progress updated.
Hold subs, vendors, and in-house labor accountable to SDR standards.
Return items for credit and collect warranty information for the Production Manager.
Maintain and return on-site company rental tools when no longer needed.
Represent SDR on the job site and manage carpenters and subcontractors; be solution-driven when problems arise.
Submit coded invoices weekly or as requested and follow all safety regulations.
Qualifications
Five years of remodeling experience.
Thorough understanding of rough and finish carpentry and the trades required on each project.
Strong communication with SDR team members, subcontractors, and clients; ability to take direction from the Production Manager.
What You’ll Do
Lead projects with a focus on craftsmanship and timely completion.
Keep all project information current, including revisions, change orders, and schedule updates.
Collaborate with the Production Manager, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project progression.
Oversee job site safety, cleanliness, and protection of materials and work in progress.
Maintain project records and ensure documentation is organized for warranties and invoicing.
Coordinate material orders to align with project needs and timelines.
Ensure adherence to SDR standards by subs, vendors, and in-house staff.
Efficiently manage project invoicing and safety compliance on site.
Schedule & Compensation Official workday:
8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday; flexible as needed. Additional hours and weekend work may be required.
Salary Range:
$28.00 – $32.00 per hour
