Be a Team Member: maintain knowledge of products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; develop interpersonal skills for customer service; work in other areas as needed; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; and control shrinkage in a timely manner. Be an Expert: understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise; prepare products according to established standards; maintain product safety and sanitation guidelines; adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage teammates; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: drive area performance; utilize digital tools; stock and rotate department products using perpetual inventory techniques; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; assist customers per company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience and modeling high-quality service and products; perform basics at the highest level of quality; show energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; apply these in business processes and practices. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; seek improvement opportunities; adapt to change and feedback.
