Position Summary: Members choose Sam’s Club for quality and fresh food at low cost. As part of the produce team, you’ll help ensure the quality, availability, cleanliness and freshness of produce. You will be on the front lines of customer service, contributing to a positive member experience. What you’ll do
Be a Team Member:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; be flexible to business needs, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and help control shrinkage. Be an Expert:
Understand produce quality processes and specifications; prepare products to standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; comply with laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie:
Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; operate handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage their use. Be an Owner:
Drive area performance; utilize digital tools; manage stock using perpetual inventory; ensure quality and date control; reduce waste; assist customers as needed. Be a Talent Ambassador:
Model high-quality service and products; maintain energy, commitment, and passion for work. Compliance:
Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics; apply the Open Door Policy in daily business practices. Execution:
Complete tasks by prioritizing work, collaborating with managers and colleagues, meeting deadlines, and adapting to change. Benefits and compensation
