Job Summary This role supports the shipping department by performing all required daily shipping transactions.
Essential Functions
Perform daily shipping transactions utilizing the LN system
Process small parcel shipments via UPS and FedEx through SSL
Process sales orders, generate outbound documents, prepare labels, and other special documents as required by the Sales Order or Client
Process shipment lines, prepare packing lists, and prepare Bill of Lading documents
Create and update spreadsheets and maintain client routing
Communicate via phone or email with Rolling Meadows (Corporate) and other Plant departments daily
Prepare small package shipments, process LTL orders, process trailerload shipments, post sales orders to update LN, and review open order report
Maintain inventory availability
Education, Experience, Skills Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be 18 years or older
0–1 year prior clerical experience in a shipping capacity
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP software experience is a plus
Detail‑oriented with solid communication skills
Team player with strong work ethic and knowledge of warehouse and shipping operations
Available and willing to work a flexible schedule based on workload
Compensation The base salary range for this position is $31,200–$46,800, with eligibility for overtime after 40 hours worked and an annual bonus. Bonuses are paid based on RTC’s financial results. Any payouts awarded in the first year of employment are prorated based on the start date.
