As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at CHEQ you will play a key role as we expand our fast-growing US business. You will report into our BDR Manager and work closely with our marketing and sales teams to find, qualify and target opportunities. This will be done with various outbound efforts and targeting accounts that will help grow our sales pipeline. Base pay

$50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr Responsibilities

Nurture, educate and qualify outbound leads to create sales-ready opportunities via phone and email, social selling, etc. Research accounts prior to first contact to understand the prospect needs and educate the prospect on the problem CHEQ’s platform solves. Perform outbound cold calling targeting companies that meet CHEQ’s customer profile. Become a credible resource and develop trusted relationships with prospects. Work closely with Sales Managers to identify and uncover opportunities at target accounts. Identify opportunities to hand-off to the Sales Account Executive for further follow-up. Be responsible for meeting BDR metrics and assigned goals. Manage leads through a defined process. Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of lead qualification/business development experience within a technology company, supporting the sales organization with qualified leads. Experience in outbound cold calling targeting multiple-level contacts including executive management. Experience selling to VP and CxO levels. Excellent lead follow-up skills responding to and qualifying leads from marketing-generated campaigns and inquiries. Experience prospecting, nurturing, educating, and qualifying target prospects to create sales-ready opportunities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and resources effectively. Superior pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to demonstrate products and highlight benefits. Self-starter with high energy and a positive phone presence. Ability to work in a hybrid environment that requires in-office teamwork at least 3 days a week. Note: The base pay range and related terms are described above; salary determinations depend on factors including prior employment history, qualifications and geographic location. This position is currently eligible for a bonus component based on specified benchmarks, in accordance with all applicable bonus terms and conditions.
