Position Summary: Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and staying organized? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily by following recipes and preparing our warm and ready rotisserie chicken. You will wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and address customer needs according to company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: Champion the department and the club by valuing the member experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; execute basics at the highest level of quality; show energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity; implement action plans; use the Open Door Policy; apply these in business processes and practices. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; identify opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback. Preferred qualifications include Food Service experience and Food Handler Certification (Food Safety). Benefits
