Role Overview The E-Commerce Manager supports the growth and daily operations of the Adam Lippes direct-to-consumer digital business. This role ensures flawless execution of product launches, marketplace content, and site projects while monitoring performance and driving enhancements. Coordinating as a central coordinator across departments, the E-Commerce Manager ensures Adam Lippes delivers a premium digital experience globally.
Key Responsibilities The following responsibilities are representative of the role and are not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Site Operations & Maintenance
Coordinate product uploads for 4 main Adam Lippes collections per year, plus additional capsule launches, collaborations, and special projects, sales (ensuring descriptions, pricing, images, translations, categorization are accurate).
Ensure accuracy of all website information (availability, sizing, store hours, boutique locator/maps).
Coordination of Website Translations
Conduct regular QA testing to maintain site functionality (strong focus on navigation, checkout, payment).
Troubleshoot and liaise with platform providers to resolve issues on the Adam Lippes website.
Product Launches & Campaign Execution
Coordinate seasonal, capsule, and special collection launches from asset preparation to go-live. Ensure timely and accurate product uploads, site updates, banners, landing pages, and lookbooks.
Manage on-site content updates: homepage banners, landing pages, e-merchandising, editorial lookbooks.
Merchandise website based on marketing strategy, selling, and inventory levels.
Align with Creative Services & Communications to receive and deploy assets.
Partner with Merchandising/Production to ensure product goes live with correct stock levels.
Monitor launches in real time, flagging risks (inventory shortages, site delays).
Create and maintain a 360° launch document to align Creative, PR/Comms, Merchandising, CRM, Retail Ops, and Logistics for smooth execution.
Reporting & Analytics
Own weekly, and monthly reporting on site KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, bounce rate, revenue).
Monitor sell-through by product/category, highlighting bestsellers and slow movers.
Analyze site funnel (homepage → PDP → cart → checkout) and recommend improvements.
Report on promotions, campaigns, and digital feature adoption.
Prepare performance reports and highlight key trends, supporting the Head of E-Commerce in strategic decisions.
Support quarterly business reviews with performance dashboards and data storytelling.
Market Expansion Support
Coordinate digital setup for new Adam Lippes market entries (currencies, languages, payments, shipping).
Partner with logistics and retail ops to prepare fulfillment for new markets.
Ensure site is localized (translations, sizing, customer journey adjustments).
Research local digital commerce requirements with legal/compliance teams.
Marketplace Management
Upload and manage Adam Lippes collections, pricing, and descriptions on e-retail platforms.
Update stock availability and manage OOS/replenishment communications with stores.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of Adam Lippes digital assets to e-retail teams.
Monitor marketplace KPIs (sell-through, exposure, returns) and share performance insights.
Digital Projects & Site Improvements
Support new digital projects (UX/UI upgrades, navigation, checkout improvements).
Collaborate with agencies and platform providers to scope, test, and deploy new features.
Research and propose digital innovations (personalization, product discovery tools, omnichannel).
Support integrations of new marketing/CRM tools into the Adam Lippes website.
Cross-Functional Coordination
With the support of head of Ecom, coordinate and act as the bridge between E-Commerce and other Adam Lippes teams:
Creative/Comms (assets, direction)
CRM (email journeys, onsite banners, personalization)
Retail Ops (inventory and OOS updates)
Logistics (order fulfillment flows, packaging…)
Marketing (campaign alignment across paid, social, and site).
Customer Journey & UX Monitoring
Regularly review the Adam Lippes website to identify friction in navigation or checkout.
Ensure consistency of the Adam Lippes luxury brand experience across digital touchpoints.
Recommend optimizations for PDPs, PLPs, and merchandising layouts.
Monitor on-site search and product recommendation performance.
Vendor & Tool Management
Coordinate with third-party agencies for SEO, UX, or development support.
Track budgets and invoices tied to e-commerce tools or projects.
Special Projects (as assigned)
Support online components of Adam Lippes events or pop-ups.
Manage microsites or temporary activations.
Explore collaborations or digital partnerships that expand Adam Lippes’ digital presence.
Profile Requirements
5 years of e-commerce/digital retail experience, ideally in luxury or fashion.
Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple launches.
Data-driven with proven experience in analytics and reporting.
Collaborative mindset; able to coordinate across multiple teams and geographies.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-driven.
Passion for digital innovation and the Adam Lippes brand.
Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint, Shopify, Google Analytics, and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
Ideal candidate also is familiar with systems such as RLM, JOOR, and Klaviyo
