Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Quality Supervisor at their VR1 facility in Villa Rica, GA. This position will report to the Quality Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Drive culture, supervise, lead, direct, and motivate the operations of the QA Lab
Establish clear expectations of QA associates on the performance of assigned duties
Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing at all organizational levels
Investigate customer complaints regarding defective material
Maintain good communications with internal and external customers
Compile and distribute monthly lab reports
Ensure required quality testing and holds are completed and documented in PRISM
Work closely with QA associates to meet plant and divisional objectives
Coordinate Quality System (ISO)
Coordinate Supplier and Customer Quality Claims (SQC/CFS2)
Coordinate, Conduct & Analyze Audits: ISO, Food Safety, PPS
Maintenance and Calibration of QA Lab Equipment
Minimum Requirements
Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Ability to interpret measurement data (measurements and charts).
Must be able to pass the Ishihara color test
Internal Candidates
Last performance review must have been "Performer" or better
No disciplinary actions beyond a written within the past year
Must have been in current role for more than 120 days
