We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Project Scheduler

to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this critical role, you will manage bid proposals, oversee multiple projects throughout their duration, and ensure timelines and milestones are met to achieve project success. You will be responsible for planning, developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to support the successful delivery of complex construction projects. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience with construction scheduling.

Responsibilities

Bid Preparation and Scheduling: Prepare detailed construction bid schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and requirements. Collaborate with estimating teams to ensure the schedule supports the bid strategy.

Schedule Development: Create comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software, detailing all phases of construction, including validation, commissioning, and execution.

Progress Monitoring: Regularly update and maintain project schedules, reflecting actual progress and providing accurate forecasts for completion.

Critical Path Analysis: Analyze the critical path and identify potential delays or risks, proposing mitigation strategies, as necessary.

Resource Management: Coordinate with project teams to ensure optimal allocation of resources and adjust schedules to address constraints.

Cost Control and Estimation: Work closely with the cost control and estimating teams to align schedules with project budgets and forecasts.

Claims Support: Assist in preparing and analyzing claims, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather relevant information and ensure alignment on timelines.

Compliance: Ensure all scheduling activities adhere to company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling within the construction industry.

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling techniques.

Planning and Controls: Demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling, validation, commissioning, cost control, claims, and estimating.

Construction Knowledge: Basic understanding of construction projects.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex project data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying information to diverse audiences.

Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving scheduling issues.
