As a part of our produce team, you’ll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness. You will be in the front-lines of customer service – your smile makes a difference and you can help enhance the member’s shopping experience. Responsibilities

Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; adapt to the needs of the business; track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner.

Be an Expert: Understand quality processes and specifications related to various types of produce; prepare products according to established standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.

Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.

Be an Owner: Drive department performance; use perpetual inventory management to stock and rotate products; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; assist customers according to company policies and procedures.

Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience in the meat area; model high quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; uphold Open Door Policy in business processes and practices.

Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if offered the position

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances. The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
