Produce Associate role at Sam's Club. Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience. What you'll do: Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross functional teams; help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; support flexible work across areas; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; control shrinkage in a timely manner. Be an Expert: Understand quality processes for various types of produce; prepare products according to standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive area performance; use digital tools and perpetual inventory techniques to stock and rotate products; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; assist customers according to company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products; demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion for the work; advocate for the department and the club by prioritizing the member experience. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; maintain Open Door Policy; apply these in executing business processes. Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers and customers; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; identify opportunities for improvement; adapt to change.
