Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; be flexible to business needs; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; and control shrinkage in a timely manner. Be an Expert: Understand quality processes for produce; prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products to established standards; maintain product safety; follow sanitation guidelines; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage usage. Be an Owner: Drive performance of the area; utilize digital tools; manage stock with perpetual inventory; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; assist customers per company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: Value member experience in the department; model high quality service and product standards; demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; apply Open Door Policy in business processes. Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; set priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; identify opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback.
