Joubert Law Firm is looking for a detail oriented, motivated, self-starter for our Baton Rouge office to take the role of Legal Assistant. This position handles personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
Responsibilities
Opening new client files;
Sending letters of representation;
Frequently communicating with clients;
Maintaining and updating our case management software, and
Assisting attorneys with pleadings, correspondence, and scheduling.
Our Legal Assistants establish caring relationships with our clients and collaborative partnerships with our attorneys and support team. They have extensive contact with insurance adjusters and other parties involved in our cases.

Experience is desired but not required.
Benefits and compensation Full-time team members receive two weeks of paid vacation, one week of paid sick leave, and about ten paid holidays yearly.
