Base pay range $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr
Summary Supports the operational efforts of the Human Resources team in recruitment initiatives, the employee life cycle, including onboarding and offboarding, employee engagement, compliance, payroll, and administrative functions. This role serves as the first point of contact for internal and external human resources related inquiries.
Essential Functions
Perform recruitment activities including posting job openings, resume review, coordination of interviews, and phone screens.
Attend and represent the company at recruitment and networking events.
Maintain employment applications and candidate records.
Provide support in preparation and maintenance of materials used for new hire orientations/onboarding.
Conduct new hire orientations/onboarding sessions for incoming employees.
Assist in new hire and ongoing data entry.
Document support and maintenance of department communication materials for benefits, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and safety items.
Maintains electronic and/or physical records including personnel, confidential, recruitment, and general files and information; assists in periodic audits to ensure documents have been filed and retained appropriately.
Assists in the administration of personnel policies and procedures. Support employees with routine personnel questions as the first point of contact.
Champion employee engagement, recognition, and morale events and activities.
Assist with workplace safety activities and security matters such as CPR scheduling, OSH Act compliance, policies and procedures, and general workplace access.
Support in coordinating and organizing of offboarding materials, including serving as backup support for exit meetings as needed.
Assist payroll efforts in weekly timesheet and labor report review.
Other duties as assigned.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast‑paced, professional office environment
Strong attention to detail with keen accuracy in data entry, filing, compliance tracking, and document preparation
Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and group settings
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of rudimentary HR principles and practices
Ability to occasionally travel to off‑site locations as needed
Proficient in Microsoft Suite

Education And/or Experience Must possess a high school diploma or GED. An associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. One (1) year of human resources‑specific experience is valued. Experience working in a professional services firm or a project‑based environment is advantageous.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle is required. SHRM Essentials certificate or equivalent is preferred.
