Litigation Paralegal

Salary/Payrate:
$90K-$110K, bonus and benefits
Work Environment:
Hybrid (2 days WFH after ramp up)

The Senior Paralegal role provides administrative and other assistance to the legal team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, from initial case assessment through trial and appeal.
Organize, manage, and maintain case files (electronic and physical) to ensure timely access and compliance with court and firm procedures.
Coordinate and track discovery, including drafting and managing discovery requests and responses, collecting, reviewing, and producing documents, and maintaining discovery logs.
Conduct factual research and assist in organizing information to support case preparation.
Prepare, review, and maintain deposition summaries, witness files, exhibit lists, and trial notebooks.
Assist with drafting, proofreading, and cite‑checking legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence.
Monitor, track, and maintain litigation calendars, including court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and other key dates.
File and retrieve court documents using state and federal e‑filing systems and circulate to attorneys.
Coordinate with attorneys, clients, courts, experts, and vendors to facilitate case progress.
Provide logistical and on‑site support for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed.
Perform general legal and administrative assistance when required.
Key Competencies
Comprehensive understanding of litigation processes, discovery rules, and court procedures in state and federal courts (PACER).
Knowledge of federal electronic filing systems and litigation support platforms.
Familiarity with firm policies, procedures, and workflows.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to promote a positive work environment.
Methodical approach to work with a strong focus on teamwork, organizational ability, communication, accuracy, and pride in the quality of work.
