Water Supply Management – Business Class Lead for Irrigation

Overview
HDR seeks an experienced National Business Class Lead for Irrigation to lead the irrigation practice within the Water Business Group. The primary duties include planning and design of irrigation projects, coordinating project teams, developing our national strategy for irrigation clients, and tracking implementation. The role requires independent work and supervision of medium to large teams, and experience in business development with irrigation districts and federal agencies. Responsibilities
Lead planning and design of irrigation projects; coordinate/lead project teams. Drive engagement with irrigation clients regionally; develop national strategy for irrigation clients; act as the point person for strategy implementation. Plan, organize, and supervise work of professional and technical staff; work independently as needed. Develop proposals, scopes of work, and contract cost estimates. Mentor and supervise staff; collaborate with other directors and managers on business-class efforts. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or closely related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the related field; 20+ years water resources experience strongly preferred. Professional engineering registration and related technical experience. Experience in development/management of diverse teams; strong collaboration skills. Experience with irrigation clients and agencies (Bureau of Reclamation, Army Corps of Engineers, NRCS); experience with Bureau of Indian Affairs and Tribes is desired. The base pay range is $163,422/yr - $324,250/yr. The compensation stated applies to full-time regular positions; temporary and part-time roles are eligible for limited benefits. Location options include multiple U.S. locations. Location
