Responsibilities The primary duties of the Irrigation Lead are to manage the planning and design of irrigation projects, including coordination and leadership of project teams. This person will help drive engagement and activities with irrigation clients across the region, lead the development of a national strategy for irrigation clients, and be the point person for tracking implementation of that strategy. The role requires working independently, as well as planning, organizing, and supervising the work of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians, depending on the project or task. Experience should include business development related to irrigation projects and working with irrigation districts, the Bureau of Reclamation, Army Corps of Engineers, and Natural Resources Conservation Service. Experience with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Tribes is desired. The lead will be responsible for developing proposals, scopes of work, and contract cost estimates, and proven ability to mentor and supervise staff is desired.
Preferred Qualifications
20+ years Water Resources experience, emphasis on irrigation strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
A minimum of 10 years of experience in the related field
Maintains a professional or Engineering registration and has related technical experience
Experienced in development and management of diverse teams
Works cooperatively with other business class directors, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts
Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values

Compensation The expected compensation range for this position is $163,422 – $324,250 depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full‑time regular positions. Temporary and part‑time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
