Responsible for a broad range of financial and business functions related to the administration and management of portfolio of research grants, awards, and contracts in the College of Nursing, Niedfelt Nursing Research Center (NNRC). Partner with faculty in budget development, submission, and post-award management including grant management and reconciliation, cost allocation and forecasting, purchasing, contract management, continuation and expansion of budget requests, budget realignment, reporting and, close out for NIH, HRSA, USDA, DOD, foundation, and intramural grants.

2 years increasingly responsible administrative support to include accounting/budgeting and some experience with research grants administration.
Microsoft Excel,Microsoft Word,Microsoft PowerPoint,Microsoft Outlook
Must have strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills .
In-depth knowledge of NIH grant policies, RPPR, ASSIST, xTRACT, xTRAIN, and era Commons.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, problem solving, sound judgment, and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
Must be able to work independently, maintain confidentiality of privileged information, meet deadlines, remain flexible to changing schedules and priorities.
Understanding of financial and regulatory environment.
