SCA Customer Care Representative I – CareBridge Base pay range
$17.20/hr - $17.20/hr Location
Location: East Syracuse, NY; Harrisburg, PA; Denison, TX. This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. Please note that per our policy on hybrid/virtual work, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law. Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 10:35 AM to 7:05 PM EST What you will do
Responds to caller questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding benefits, contracts, eligibility and claims. Analyzes issues and provides information and/or solutions. Obtains and extracts information from computer system. Documents information, activities and changes in the database. Thoroughly documents inquiry outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis. Develops and maintains relationships throughout organization and coordinates with various functions to ensure requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. Researches and analyzes data to address operational challenges and service issues. Provides external and internal customers with requested information. Under immediate supervision, receives and places follow-up telephone calls / e-mails to answer questions that are routine in nature. Uses computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting. Understands and responds to the needs and expectations of internal and external customers. Meets department goals. Completes multi-tasking across calls, texts, facsimiles, and electronic queues while taking notes and speaking to customers. Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, empathy, persistence and problem solving to resolve caller issues. Maintains focus in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; comfortable with digital tools and platforms to enhance productivity. Structured work schedule with occasional overtime or flexibility based on business needs; may require in-office work as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent with experience in an automated customer service environment preferred; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years. Preferred Experience, Skills And Capabilities
Knowledge of services and contracts preferred. Prior call center or customer service experience within the healthcare industry is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of claims is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills are highly preferred. Proficiency in multitasking, navigating multiple computer applications, and efficiently managing tasks while interacting with customers is strongly preferred. Ability to work effectively with multiple systems simultaneously in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities are strongly preferred.
