Job Description
Fire Alarm Service Technician Lead Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team. This role involves traveling to customer sites to diagnose and repair fire alarm system issues. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve fire alarm system issues
Troubleshoot and repair circuit faults, including ground faults and open circuits
Replace malfunctioning devices and panel components
Modify fire alarm programming as needed
Communicate findings and solutions to customers
Complete detailed documentation for each service call
Coordinate with the Service Manager to ensure timely and efficient service
Deliver excellent customer service to maintain high satisfaction levels
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience in fire alarm service
Familiarity with various fire alarm panels (Gamewell FCI, Firelite, Silent Knight)
Experience programming fire alarm panels
NICET Fire Alarm Systems certification
Strong interpersonal and time management skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
High school diploma or equivalent required
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
