Join to lead three H&R Block tax offices with a focus on developing a customer-centric team, delivering an outstanding client experience, and driving growth across the offices you manage.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership over three tax offices, guiding the customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business.
Front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, ensuring an excellent client experience and achievement of office growth objectives for three offices.
Lead daily team meetings, communicate essential information, and create associate work schedules across all offices with accurate timekeeping and labor management.
Travel between offices as required; prepare tax returns as needed after completing the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
What You’ll Bring
Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders.
Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and community involvement.
Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions; conduct timely performance reviews and work with the Associate Relations Center to address issues.
Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training and coaching; recognize outstanding contributions.
Travel between offices as required and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management for all offices.
Travel between offices as required; prepare tax returns as needed after successful completion of the required tax course or assessment.
Your Expertise
People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates.
Demonstrated ability to execute growth plans and lead toward a growth culture.
Strong decision-making, judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
Computer proficiency with MS Office; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
