Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office-related growth objectives for three tax offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. Start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season; from January to April, transition to full-time with evening and weekend hours as needed. This role is in-person and not remote. Responsibilities
Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates. Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders. Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement. Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions. Conduct timely performance reviews and collaborate with the Associate Relations Center to resolve issues and address performance concerns. Create an engaging team environment across all offices through training and coaching, recognizing outstanding contributions. Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management. Travel between offices as required. Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment. Your expertise
People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates. Aptitude for executing growth plans and leading toward a growth culture. Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset to understand and exceed client needs. Computer proficiency in MS Office. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Why work for us

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions depend on factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Qualifying associates may participate in incentive plans and eligible benefits, including medical and retirement plans. Pay Range : $15.00 - $40.00/Hr. Employment type
