Overview
Multi-Unit Team Leader at H&R Block. Provide leadership over three tax offices, accelerate seasonal tax business, and deliver an outstanding client experience. You will be the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates across multiple offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. Responsibilities
Lead and develop associates across three tax offices; manage office staffing, operations, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders. Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement. Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions. Conduct timely performance reviews and resolve associate issues in collaboration with the Associate Relations Center. Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training and coaching. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates. Create and manage associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management. Travel between offices as required. Prepare tax returns as needed, after successful completion of required training / assessments. Your Expertise
People management experience with the ability to develop associates. Ability to execute growth plans and lead a growth culture. Strong decision-making and judgment in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset. Computer proficiency in MS Office. Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with equivalent experience. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). What you’ll bring to the team

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $40.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply.
