Duties, Responsibilities & Other This position is for a directional drill foreman with a minimum of 6 years of underground experience operating a directional drill with at least 2 years of experience managing a 4‑person crew.

Work with construction manager for in‑field project set up.

Lead and direct 4‑person crew to safely complete projects.

Complete legible bore logs and field sketches.

Select and implement appropriate maintenance of traffic signage and follow safety precautions.

Identify potential safety hazards. Create a corrective action plan when safety hazards are recognized.

Administer monthly safety meetings.

Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

Understand as‑built drawings and roadway plans.

Possess leadership and mentoring skills.

Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance tasks.

Must have a mechanical aptitude.

Experience placing underground cable a plus.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.

High school diploma or GED.

Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to maintain required certifications.

Pre‑employment drug screening and background investigation are a condition of employment. A motor vehicle check may be required based on position.
