Overview

We’re seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team in the Triangle Area of North Carolina (Raleigh/Durham/Cary, NC) managing a large-scale K12 Capital Construction Program. This program will utilize your Project Management talents to design and construct crucially important schools which will educate the next generation of American students. You’ll work with engineers, project managers, and contractors to deliver bold solutions for everyday living. Your education and experience will be engaged on a daily basis, and you will be mentored in the more complex aspects of project management and building relationships as you progress towards becoming a Project Manager. Responsibilities

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work side-by-side with senior project managers in all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts, coordinating design and construction teams, maintaining project governance, conducting field quality control of the craft trades at site, and ensuring successful project turnover. Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction, or engineering At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components Ideally, You’ll Also Have
