Sr Operations & Business Analyst (Hybrid)

Responsibilities
Provide strategic insights and recommendations for enhancing and developing new programs to management.
Ensure that strategic planning initiatives and projects are effectively implemented by forming teams to evaluate and implement, performing complex case or feasibility analyses on multiple projects.
Assist with research for, and development of, cost‑benefit analysis or various maintenance, rehabilitation and/or replacement options for specific assets related to the strategic plan.
Define scope, recommend approach, and lead execution of major strategic projects, ensuring results meet technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost requirements and ultimately achieve the desired outcome. Develop data‑driven insights for delivery to an executive/Board level audience.
Develop and implement operating plans, goals, objectives, priorities and procedures that align with the established strategic goals and objectives of the department, working with senior management on long‑range planning projects.
Formally track and report progress toward established goals for delivery of results.
Ensure appropriate records are maintained for budget requirements, management systems, policies and procedures.
Develop and lead focused training as needed to support organizational needs and requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Nine or more years’ experience in capital planning, decision‑making modeling, operations and maintenance planning, financial management, project management and strategic business support or relevant experience.
A degree in business, economics, engineering, finance, math, science or a relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
Experience in long‑term strategic planning.
