REPORTS TO:
Quality Assurance Lab Supervisor
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Ensures that weapons and weapon systems are properly and completely assembled, packaged and that their components are functioning properly.
SPECIAL TRAINING NEEDED:
Familiarity with the function and performance of gas-operated firearms and their components.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as Engineering drawings, Quality Procedures, and Inspection / Control plans. Must be able to perform math calculations. Ability to use of jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments and attribute gaging (i.e. go/no-go gages) Must be able to use any required charts, maintain, and understand records. Must be able to work from written and verbal instructions. Must have proficient computer skills.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES:
Primary responsibility will be to perform visual and functional inspection of gas-operated firearms and their components. Generate documentation necessary to provide objective evidence of conformance to Engineering requirements and adherence to Company standards of Quality. Additional duties as assigned by management.

Seeing – Required Speaking- Required Hearing – Required Standing – Frequently Walking – Frequently Sitting – Occasionally Lifting – Often, up to 50-pounds Carrying – Often, up to 50-pounds Pushing – Occasionally Pulling – Occasionally, up to 60-pounds Climbing – Rarely Balancing – Rarely Bending – Frequently Twisting – Frequently Reaching – Frequently Grasping/Handling – Frequently, for dexterity, fine finger handling Stooping/Crouching – Rarely Kneeling – Rarely Crawling – Rarely
Environmental Conditions:
Inside – 100% outside – 0%
Temperature Conditions: Controlled – in excess of 70 degrees- Occasionally
