We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a customer service / order entry specialist. In this role, you will provide excellent customer support while ensuring the accurate and timely entry of orders into our systems. Scheduling freight pickups and providing freight quotes in a timely manner is also a responsibility of this role.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide product information, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain positive relationships with customers.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.
Work closely with the warehouse, procurement, and sales to confirm product availability and prices.
Obtain freight quotes to ensure best price and service.
Schedule freight companies to pick up shipments.
Record shipping information on the sales orders (tracking numbers, carrier and weights and dimensions).
Requirements
Proficiency in order management systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
Experience in a customer service / order entry role.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Familiar with Quick Books Desktop.
Prior experience working with freight companies.
