Position Reports to: Service Manager. Division: ABB Smart Power provides advanced solutions for data centers, industrial plants, and critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical power systems including UPS, PDU, STS.
Ensure continuous operation of mission‑critical infrastructure for data centers, hospitals, telecommunications facilities.
Perform service tasks, identify technical problems, conduct analysis through remote or on‑site activities.
Execute service work according to customer orders, build and maintain good relationships with customers, and identify new sales opportunities.
Coordinate, prepare, and ensure that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and meet quality standards.
Identify potential equipment failures proactively and request corrective actions; troubleshoot failures and recommend prevention.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology with 6+ years servicing critical power equipment, or Associate Degree with 8+ years, or High School Diploma/GED with 15+ years.
Advanced communication skills (written and verbal) across the organization.
Advanced MS Office skills; moderate project management using MS Project or Excel.
Advanced ability to write test plans and reports; stay organized and meet deadlines.
Collaborates well, works with sense of urgency and ownership.
