Job Summary The Construction Project Administrator (CPA) ensures OSP construction work meets standards and expectations. Responsible for inspecting contractor work and guiding contract inspectors across the region.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Perform aerial and underground inspections and audits for contractors.

Assign and dispatch work to contract inspectors via email or online database.

Assist inspectors in resolving NESC or FPT complex issues.

Develop, test, and implement new processes, documentation, web applications, and field software.

Train contract personnel in accepted inspection methods and field software.

Resolve disputes with vendors and address citizen complaints related to fiber deployment.

Serve as municipality liaison on permitting, traffic control, and community impact.

Process invoices in project workflow databases, ensuring adherence to accounting guidelines.

Provide first‑level field approval for changes found in field.

Support Ziply Fiber values and collaborate with business, consumer, and engineering teams.

Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

5+ years OSP construction or engineering experience.

College degree preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (including functions such as COUNT, COUNTIF, SUBTOTAL, SUM).

Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of NESC, OSP construction techniques, telecom best practices and site safety.

Ability to work with teams for timely, quality, safe completion of labor and billing cycles.

Knowledge of current Ziply construction unit coding.

Continuous learning of new systems and applications.

Understanding of as‑built process for closing OSP projects.

Basic understanding of NJUNS database and joint use processes.

Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong leadership, decision‑making and conflict resolution skills.

Excellent communication, detail orientation and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.

Work Authorization Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US. Sponsorship not available.

Physical Requirements Must maintain ability to bend, stoop, sit, walk, stand and drive up to 15% of time.

Work Environment Office setting with computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone system.
