H&R Block . As a Team Leader, you’ll provide leadership to a customer‑centric team of associates and accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office. You’ll serve as the front‑line manager, developing associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office growth objectives. Responsibilities
Lead daily activities to ensure that all tax office associates complete work on time with attention to quality, priorities, and overall goals. Build an engaging team environment by training and coaching associates to meet Service Standards and recognize outstanding contributions. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates. Create associate work schedules and ensure accurate timekeeping and overtime management. Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office‑level growth plans, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement. Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions. Serve as the point of contact for on‑site escalated client service concerns and ensure proper scheduling to resolve conflicts. Prepare tax returns, as required, and act as a knowledgeable resource on tax topics and products for associates. Lead efforts to meet office growth objectives and provide development opportunities to staff. Qualifications
Prior experience in a customer service, shift leader, or similar role; experience supervising or managing people. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course* (if preparing tax returns). Annual continuing education or ability to meet IRS and applicable state requirements. Computer proficiency with MS Office; ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong customer‑centric mindset, adaptability, and resilience; flexible schedule and assignments based on business needs. High school diploma or equivalent or higher. Benefits & Community
