Military Flight Controls Division Supporting aircraft worldwide, Parker Aerospace’s Military Flight Controls Division (MFCD) provides primary and secondary flight control systems that make flight possible. Tested, proven and trusted in commercial and military applications for decades, MFCD provides precise position‑control actuation solutions for military aircraft across the United States and with foreign partners. The division’s JetPipe electrohydraulic servovalve (EHSV) technology is used across commercial and military aircraft around the world. Enter the procurement and supplier‑management responsibilities that drive our supply chain excellence:
Obtain the best quality, service, and value for products and services through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management.
Identify manufacturing needs, select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and arrange delivery of critical, complex, and high‑dollar parts, equipment, services, and materials.
Conduct supplier site visits and evaluate production capability, performance, delivery, and other key business criteria.
Negotiate final terms and conditions of purchase, administer contracts to conclusion, and issue purchase orders and agreements that reflect negotiated price, schedule, and terms.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, resolve shipment quality discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain production and delivery schedules.
Prepare complex reports and analyses, apply continuous improvement techniques, develop improvement initiatives with key suppliers, and lead or be assigned to special project teams.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing trade publications, and participating in professional associations.
Compliance with federal, state, and aerospace industry regulations is essential, including adherence to the Government/Commercial Practices Manual (GPM/CPM) policies and procedures. Leadership and training of less experienced employees may be required.
