Overview Position Summary: Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. You will properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. A smiling approach helps create a great shopping experience. You’ll help a family have a great meal and be part of a team that offers customers more of what they love, for less.
Responsibilities
Ensure high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area.
Keep shelves clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products.
Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food.
Maintain the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.
Be a Team Member: stay up-to-date on product specifications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates, and remain flexible to business needs.
Be an Expert: prepare food according to item specifications, plan for production, ensure food safety and sanitation, manage cold chain and inventory, operate and sanitize equipment, and understand product and layout execution.
Be a Techie: use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilize handheld devices to support production, training, and product quality.
Be an Owner: drive area performance, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste, and assist customers per company policies.
Be a Talent Ambassador: model high-quality service and product standards, demonstrate energy and commitment, and advocate for the department and club experience.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards; use Open Door Policy and apply these in business processes.
Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; prioritize and communicate progress; identify opportunities for improvement.
