Responsibilities

Be a Team Member: Collaborates with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educates other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentors new technicians. Communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.

Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring systems), product specifications, and seasonality. Demonstrates knowledge of Point of Sale systems and in-person selling techniques.

Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training. Adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.

Be an Owner: Communicates equipment, tools, and supplies needs to the team; tracks and monitors returns and special orders; operates cash registers; processes transactions; maintains inventory, audit, safety and compliance standards; reports complaints, safety hazards, and problems with products, services, and work areas; completes paperwork logs and required documentation; ensures merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per policies; identifies member needs and assists with purchasing decisions; resolves issues and concerns.

Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate by valuing the member experience, modeling high quality service, developing and inspiring others in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style. Understands roadblocks and assists in training team members.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; applies related action plans using the Open Door Policy.

Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and opportunities for improvement; adapts to change and feedback.
