Overview Be among the first 25 applicants. This role involves preparing fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our rotisserie chicken. You will wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure fresh items for customers. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while assisting members with bakery orders. A positive demeanor helps create a great shopping experience.
Responsibilities
Ensure high-quality products are available in the prepared foods area
Maintain clean shelves, temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality products
Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
Maintain the Sales Floor per company policies; handle claims and returns, zone and organize merchandise, and identify shrink and damages
Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
What you'll do
Be a Team Member: Keep up-to-date knowledge of product specifications; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with teammates; be flexible to work in other areas as needed
Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future and seasonal production; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution
Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology for production, training, and product quality decisions
Be an Owner: Drive area performance; manage high exposure; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; minimize waste; assist customers per company policies
Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products; demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion
Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; follow Open Door Policy
