As you inspire people to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money, you’ll build client relationships that grow stronger each year. As a Team Leader, you’ll provide leadership to a customer-centric team of associates and accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office. You’ll serve as the front-line manager to lead and develop tax office associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving growth objectives. We’ll help you advance your knowledge and serve as a resource on tax topics and products for associates. Responsibilities

Lead a customer-centric team of associates in a single H&R Block tax office and accelerate seasonal tax business. Provide leadership and development to tax office associates, delivering an outstanding client experience and achieving office growth objectives. Serve as a knowledgeable resource on tax topics and products and support associates’ knowledge and skills development. Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans, develop local partnerships, and manage office community involvement. Assist the District General Manager in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions. Act as the point of contact for escalated client service concerns; ensure appropriate scheduling and conflict resolution. Lead daily activities to ensure all tax office work is completed on time with quality and priority alignment; manage schedules and overtime as needed. Train and coach associates to meet Service Standards and recognize outstanding contributions; foster an engaging team environment. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates. Create associate work schedules and ensure accurate timekeeping and overtime management. Prepare tax returns, as required. Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns in collaboration with the Associate Relations Center. Qualifications

Prior experience in customer service, shift leader, or similar role; experience supervising or managing people. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course* (if preparing tax returns). Annual continuing education and ability to meet IRS and applicable state requirements. Computer proficiency with MS Office. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Customer-centric mindset; passionate, determined and resilient. Able to work a flexible schedule and adapt to business needs. High school diploma or equivalent or higher. Benefits
