Responsibilities: Gather necessary information, including code interpretations, for introducing new home designs into communities. Follow established QC processes. Complete scope of work summaries for each project. Manage and coordinate standard plan submittals. Coordinate plan maintenance for division needs. Manage ARB submittal and approval processes. Perform CAD duties, including managing drawings in CAD systems. Utilize company-defined tool sets. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor. Ensure development of compliant working drawings from internal and external resources. What you will need: High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction preferred) At least 5 years of architectural or construction experience Experience with CD development and construction Proficiency in Word, Excel, and AutoCAD; BIM experience is a plus Knowledge of federal and state codes related to residential products Strong understanding of residential construction techniques, documents, and building codes Knowledge of structural elements and installation methods Familiarity with lean, value engineering, and costing principles (a plus) Effective communication and organizational skills Additional Details
