Mechanical Project Manager – Myrtle Beach, SC
Seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for new commercial construction projects in Myrtle Beach, SC and surrounding area. The role requires managing HVAC projects on new construction and working closely with executive leadership to support the Commercial Construction division.
Base Pay Range $80,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
Annual Bonus
Responsibilities
Coordinate the scheduling effort from preliminary design through procurement, construction, and closeout.
Forecast a project from a schedule perspective.
Work closely and effectively with 3rd‑party team members and gain commitments to the project constructibility expectations related to time.
Provide general support to our client’s field operations by reviewing field change orders and assisting in answering contractors’ requests for information.
Process submittals and RFIs.
Enforce corporate safety policies on the jobsite.
Provide technical support for the resolution and tracking of project issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems in commercial or multifamily construction.
Prior estimating or construction job site exposure is a plus.
Prior knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel, is essential; “on screen” take off and revet modeling is a plus.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
