H&R Block . You will lead a customer-centric team of associates and accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and development of tax office associates, delivering an outstanding client experience and achieving office growth objectives.

Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement.

Assist the District General Manager in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions.

Serve as the point of contact for onsite escalation client service concerns; ensure clients are scheduled properly and conflicts are resolved.

Lead daily activities to ensure all tax office work is completed on time, with attention to quality standards, priorities, and overall goals.

Build an engaging team environment by training and coaching associates to meet Service Standards and recognize outstanding contributions.

Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates; create and manage associate work schedules and accurate timekeeping.

Prepare tax returns, as required.

Conduct timely performance reviews and partner with the Associate Relations Center to address performance concerns.

Your Expertise

Prior experience in customer service, shift lead, or a similar role; experience supervising or managing people.

Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or an Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).

Annual completion of continuing education and ability to meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.

Computer proficiency with MS Office; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision; customer-centric mindset and resilience.

Able to work a flexible work schedule and adapt to business needs.

High school diploma or equivalent (or higher).
