Manager of Business Intelligence The Manager of Business Intelligence empowers teams and clients to engage with data through intuitive, insight-driven tools and processes. Acting as both a strategic product owner and delivery leader, this role operationalizes the BI strategy by bridging business needs with technical execution and managing BI initiatives across their full lifecycle. The position drives cross-functional collaboration to ensure solutions are aligned with organizational goals, effectively adopted, and deliver measurable insights that enhance decision-making and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Alignment

Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate strategic goals into actionable BI solutions

Lead initiatives from intake through delivery, ensuring clarity and alignment

Collaborate with users and partners to design scalable tools that promote data-informed decisions, drive innovation, and enhance client experiences

Project Management & Delivery

Plan, organize, and manage BI projects using Agile methodologies

Maintain project visibility through milestone tracking and proactive communication

Coordinate across teams to ensure transparency, accountability, and timely delivery

Enablement & Adoption

Lead scalable onboarding programs for internal and client teams

Ensure readiness and adoption through structured launch processes and feedback loops

Training & Engagement

Develop and deliver training programs to strengthen data literacy and empower teams to leverage BI tools confidently

Promote self-service analytics and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making

System Support & Documentation

Provide first-line support for troubleshooting BI systems and tools

Develop and maintain user-friendly documentation and self-service resources

Performance & Insights

Monitor usage and adoption metrics to assess ROI of BI tools and initiatives

Deliver actionable insights and support strategic direction in partnership with BI leadership

Qualifications Required

3–5 years in BI, analytics, or related fields, ideally in client-facing or project leadership roles

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Analytics, or related field

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results

Proficient in business intelligence and data visualization platforms such as Power BI and Tableau

Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build trusted relationships

Experience managing projects with strategic alignment and timely execution

Skilled in training and enablement to drive adoption

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable

Preferred

Working knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, or similar data warehouse technologies

Experience applying Agile principles to BI initiatives

Industry experience in food services or hospitality, with familiarity in operational KPIs and analytics use cases
