Transmission Line Project Manager

to join our growing, nationally ranked Power Delivery team. Opportunities are available in multiple preferred locations: Austin, Ann Arbor, Boise, Bismarck, Billings, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Irvine, Fort Worth, Houston, Honolulu, Kansas City, Madison, Minneapolis, Missoula, Omaha, Phoenix, Portland (OR & ME), Richmond, Raleigh, Sacramento/Folsom, San Diego, Seattle, Spokane, St Louis, Syracuse. Primary Responsibilities

Managing and leading projects and programs throughout the entire life cycle. Working independently and/or directing, mentoring, training, and supervising one or more Project Engineers, EITs, Coordinators, Designers, CADD Technicians, and administrative staff. Providing project team member oversight over workload, schedule, quality, utilization, morale, and performance. Overseeing non-engineering components of projects and programs, such as public engagement, County/State/Federal agency engagement, permitting, right of way acquisition, and construction management where applicable. Leading the QA/QC process per HDR’s Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements to deliver services and work products that meet or exceed client quality expectations. Supporting client management and, at times, engaging in broader business development activities with existing and target clients in the region and beyond. Coordinating with Area and Regional leadership and HDR’s Talent Acquisition team to develop a hiring plan to grow a group of professionals to meet program and practice needs. Collaborating with staff across multiple offices to execute projects. Representing HDR to support marketing and proposal development for new opportunities. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience. FE or PE license preferred; PMP may be substituted for PE. A minimum of 2 years of project management experience. Ability to interact with various design teams and strong organizational, project management, and communication skills (written and verbal).
