Retail Store Management Trainee

to join our team. This role offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity and store performance. Minimum of 1 year retail management experience required. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% commission on transactions, averaging an additional $5.00 per hour. Position Summary The Store Manager Trainee is responsible for daily store operations, team development, financial goals, and customer satisfaction. This role partners with the Store Manager and may act as manager on duty in their absence. The position involves working with various merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations). Responsibilities of a Store Management Trainee Engage customers and address issues professionally. Assist in training pawnbrokers. Recruit top talent. Open and close the store, manage cash and merchandise. Ensure asset protection and inventory control. Manage store processes, financials, and reporting. Drive profitability and meet operational standards. Monitor loan processes and store presentation. Complete training and self-development tasks. Communicate store goals and standards to staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, climb, push, and pull for extended periods. Effective supervision skills. Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification. Minimum age 18, high school diploma or GED. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Work 45+ hours/week based on business needs. Computer skills, cash handling experience, and ability to multi-task. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
