Position Summary The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role involves managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, materials, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has experience leading multi-million-dollar projects and can thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full project lifecycle for electrical construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and field oversight.

Collaborate with clients, general contractors, and internal teams to define scope, manage expectations, and resolve issues quickly.

Develop and maintain project schedules and forecasts using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.

Review and manage project budgets, cost projections, change orders, and billing to ensure financial goals are met.

Support the procurement process and coordinate timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout project execution.

Conduct regular project meetings, prepare progress reports, and ensure communication between stakeholders is clear and timely.

Work closely with superintendents and field leadership to align schedules, resolve construction issues, and maintain project momentum.

Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, as-builts, and closeout packages.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.

5 years of experience in project management within electrical construction or related industry.

Experience managing commercial or industrial projects valued at $50m.

Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA safety regulations, and general construction processes.

Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Autodesk Build, Bluebeam) and scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).

Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems under pressure, and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
