The Business Development Manager is responsible for selling Manpower services to clients, focusing on new business development (securing new client logos). Present value proposition and educate potential clients on talent strategy via the Manpower story, with an emphasis on temporary staffing and permanent placement in clerical, light industrial, or manufacturing verticals.
Accountabilities
Results & Strategy:
Secure new business with SMB and mid-market clients in an assigned territory.
Develop and execute a territory plan to capitalize on market/industry opportunities.
Adopt Manpower methodologies, disciplines, and tools to pursue profitable business opportunities.
Client & Candidate:
Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to transition to the Branch Manager/delivery team.
Partner with multiple markets to provide solutions for clients and ensure successful implementation.
Thought Leadership:
Become a market and industry leader in relevant communities and be recognized for World of Work expertise.
Offer customized workforce solutions by collaborating across teams/brands to leverage the full suite of ManpowerGroup solutions.
Other accountabilities as assigned.
Qualifications - External Required
Sales experience: 2+ years selling solutions or in a service industry.
Proven performance in competitive or entrepreneurial environments with successful achievement of goals.
High school diploma or GED.
Nice to Have
Industry knowledge: Experience in the staffing industry, especially in light industrial or clerical sectors, is a plus.
