WHO YOU ARE You will be the Quality Inspector supporting TLS programs, providing all inspections’ needs to the manufacturing and testing area as well as coaching line operators and assemblers, and actively collaborating with both the various TLS Program Integrated Production Teams and Performance Management Teams (PMTs). This position is responsible for the inspection of the TLS products following the detailed Inspection Plan from the program Quality Engineer which will drive the following actions: creation and communicating non‑conformances via Q‑notes, perform daily review of work in progress, work with QE and Supervisor for inspection priorities and tasks, assist QE with review of all non‑conforming material on the program non‑conforming rack weekly for accuracy and status. In addition, the assistance and support of audits of processes and procedures to ensure factory and program compliance with command media, local guidance, and industry standard is required. Also will drive continuous improvement through the active participation in OET, champion RCCA of defects to prevent recurrence and to collaborate with the preventative actions.

Basic Qualifications
Experienced with IPC‑A‑620 and IPC‑J‑STD‑001
Detail‑oriented and proficient at understanding drawings diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions
Experience with aerospace cables and harnesses
Proficient with common inspections tools and equipment
Experienced with Quality best practices
Ability to perform Repair and Rework Inspections
Ability to perform In‑Process Manufacturing Inspections
Experience following the detailed Inspection plan from the program QE
Desired Skills
College Degree or more than 3 years of Quality Inspection experience
Experience with IPC‑620 and J‑STD Space Addendums
Experience with Productions/Operations Teams
A team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interface effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, Customers and management when resolving quality issues
Experienced with active PMT Continuous improvement
Experienced with Lean Six Sigma
Familiarity with the Nonconformance life cycle through active engagement with relevant parties (Depot, Operations, Supply chain, Lab management, Test, System engineering, and Software Engineering)
Experiencing assisting QE with review of all non‑conforming material on the program non‑conforming rack for accuracy and status
Experience performing FAI measurements and providing FAI data to QE for completion

Pay Rate The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $51,600 - $86,020. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
