A Food Manufacturing Company in the Mableton, GA area is seeking a Maintenance Manager to provide leadership to 6-8 mechanics and 1 coordinator/planner across 3 shifts, in a 24/7 manufacturing operation producing baked goods products. This role will provide hands-on leadership and will be a technical problem solver for production equipment (mixers, ovens, dividers, proofers, conveying, packaging), utilities / electrical systems, Freon refrigeration, and other critical assets. The position will report to the Plant Manager with a dotted line to the Director of Engineering. Schedule
Schedule: Monday - Friday. 8am - 5pm with 24/7 support and Saturdays as needed. Responsibilities
Lead 6-8 maintenance mechanics and 1 coordinator in a 24/7 Bakery Manufacturing Operation maintaining critical assets including mixers, ovens, dividers, proofers, sealers, labelers, conveying, packaging, electrical systems, utilities, Freon refrigeration, PLCs, Servo Motors, fans, HVAC, pumps, motors, etc. Equipment Purchasing, MRO, Parts, Inventory Management. Scheduling/Planning Preventative Maintenance and Planned Maintenance. Lead or support Capital Projects for new equipment upgrades/installations. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a Maintenance leadership role. Hands-on leader with a track record for developing teams, reducing down-time and troubleshooting older equipment. Experience in food manufacturing, preferably Bakery. Freon or Ammonia Refrigeration experience preferred. Electrical (up to 480V) and PLC experience (Allen Bradley preferred). Seniority level
