As part of our produce team, you’ll help ensure availability, cleanliness, and freshness of produce. You will be in the front lines of customer service—your smile makes a difference and you can help enhance the member’s shopping experience. Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; provide customer service; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; control shrinkage. Be an Expert: understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce; prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: drive department performance; use digital tools and perpetual inventory management; stock and rotate products; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; assist customers per company policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience; model high quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; open door policy; apply these in business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; set priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; seek opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback. What you’ll do
Provide exceptional customer service, greet and assist members, and maintain a positive attitude. Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area; receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner; manage inventory to avoid out-of-stocks and over-stocks.
